What If All Trees Were Cut Down

Deforestation is happening all around the world approximately 15 billion trees are cut down every single year despite some forests getting replanted if we keep going at this rate we’ll have no trees in about 200 years but what if that were to happen right now what would happen to our air quality what would happen to animals and do trees hold the key to our food supply this is what if and here’s what would happen if all the world’s trees were cut down.

No more note-taking no thank-you cards you’ll never be able to put pen to paper
ever again but take a look at the bigger picture you’ll have a lot more to worry
about than that when it comes to not having any trees one of your biggest
worries might be the air that we breathe it’s no secret that trees produce a lot
of our oxygen but just how much well not as much as you might think through the magic of photosynthesis trees produce roughly half of the oxygen in our
atmosphere we have the oceans to thank for the other half with the oceans still intact we should still be able to breathe but it won’t be .what you’re used to

First let’s break down exactly how this might be possible well it’s pretty far-fetched but in order for us to cut down all our trees we’d have to give everyone on earth between the ages of 15 and 65 a chainsaw and ask them to cut
down about 625 trees each if everyone on earth were on board with this appalling assignment we’d be finished this task in just under a year now what exactly would we do with all these fallen trees on the ground.

Well we processed quite a lot of them continuing to make the various products that we do today but the vast majority of them would most likely just lay on
the ground and rock and when they do over 35 billion yes billion tons of carbon dioxide would be released into the atmosphere since trees release the gas when they break down to put that in perspective that’s much more carbon dioxide than the United States Canada and the UK produce in a single year it’s a catastrophe that would most likely kill our planet in short order now it’s not likely that the population of Earth is going to agree to chop down every tree on the planet so what if these trees all suddenly disappeared and we didn’t have to cut them down let’s lighten this scenario up a bit and start with a few good things that will come with not having any trees you can say goodbye to forest fires every year

Forest fires around the world burn down millions of acres of forest destroy
thousands of buildings and kill hundreds of people the largest-ever forest fire
in California was responsible for destroying over 18,000 buildings and
cost the state and insurers over 16 billion dollars with no trees people in
places like California could rest easy knowing their home is a bit safer
sure fires could still happen with grass and shrubs but firefighters say these
fires are much less dangerous and easier to contain and think of all the spare
time you’ll have because of how much less yard work you’ll be dealing with.

it’s estimated that you’re probably raking half a million leaves every year depending on the size of your yard this could take upwards of a dozen hours annually now you can use that time for something better but unfortunately you may have to use it to figure out a way to survive that’s because you’d probably have trouble breathing in this treeless world an average tree produces enough oxygen each year for 10 people to breathe right now.

The earth has trillions of trees producing more than enough oxygen to
sustain the human population but with all these trees gone you’d quickly notice the world’s air supply diminishing it’d be up to the oceans phytoplankton to provide our entire supply of o2 people would have a lot of trouble breathing we wouldn’t last too long remember the world’s population increases over time eventually the oxygen provided by the oceans wouldn’t be enough to sustain us and if we continued to pollute the air which let’s be honest we would the quality of the air we were trying to breathe would continue to degrade oxygen wouldn’t be the only thing we’d have less of it’s pretty unlikely any new homes would be built without any new trees at least not the traditional houses that we know today.

A simple 110 square metre house requires thousands of pieces of wood from the
basic frame to your walls and floors and what about furniture no more chairs
tables desks the list goes on houses in a world without trees would look vastly
different sure there are other materials we could use metal glass mortar concrete
but this would increase costs significantly and even today houses built with those materials typically have some amount of wood as well not only that some of these materials like glass and concrete will probably cease to exist one day the world has a finite amount of sand and we’re quickly running out of it too bad because sand is an essential ingredient in making glass and concrete now not to be too crass

Image by <a href="https://pixabay.com/users/Alexas_Fotos-686414/?utm_source=link-attribution&utm_medium=referral&utm_campaign=image&utm_content=1037714">Alexas_Fotos</a> from <a href="https://pixabay.com/?utm_source=link-attribution&utm_medium=referral&utm_campaign=image&utm_content=1037714">Pixabay</a>

But what to do about number two having no paper also means no toilet paper.
what will you wipe with the billions of pieces of toilet paper we use every day
will be gone you won’t be able to use leaves as those will be gone too instead you’ll be joining the four billion people around the world who use water to clean themselves after going to the bathroom but enough about that what about all the other animals on the planet according to the Nature Conservancy 50% of the world’s plants and animals live in the rainforests

Image by <a href="https://pixabay.com/users/FINTANOBRIEN-1589945/?utm_source=link-attribution&utm_medium=referral&utm_campaign=image&utm_content=1021048">FINTAN O' BRIEN</a> from <a href="https://pixabay.com/?utm_source=link-attribution&utm_medium=referral&utm_campaign=image&utm_content=1021048">Pixabay</a>

we’re talking about snakes monkeys pandas elephants and whatever else is
lurking in there and that 50% isn’t even including all the animals in the world’s
other forests like deer rabbits and thousands of bird species without forests where would all these animals live unfortunately most of them would probably cease to exist just like with current deforestation that kills millions of animals a year and has made many of them extinct evicted from their natural environment it’s unlikely that these animals would be able to adapt to someplace new in such a short time homeless predatory animals like bears and wolves would probably be hunted pretty quickly in order to keep humans safe and it’s likely that the small number of animals that would survive in this world would be living much closer to humans as scavenging may be their only way of sourcing food and it won’t.

just be our furry woodland creatures who are in trouble it’ll be bugs too insects
depend on vegetation for survival they burrow into trees for shelter and eat leaves for food without these it’s safe to say that nearly all insects will become extinct in fact it’s already happening a 2019 study determined that insect populations are decreasing by two and a half percent every year this is primarily due to deforestation and with every single tree removed from earth you can expect the insect population to diminish at a faster rate than ever before.

Apart from keeping animals alive trees also help immensely with cleansing
chemicals from the air the leaves of trees absorb various pollution particles
quickly notice a lot more contaminants in the air more pollution in the air means more people dying in 2015 six and a half million deaths were linked to air

pollution one acre of trees absorbs roughly two and a half tons of carbon dioxide every year without this absorption the negative effects of climate change increase significantly expect the earth to get a lot hotter trees help cool the planet in a number of ways not only do they provide shade but they also release water through photosynthesis this helps cool areas down by several degrees and provides rainfall photosynthesis takes water from parts of the tree and delivers it to the atmosphere the water goes into the clouds and produces rain for the trees to absorb once again without this water cycle we’d see reduced rainfall.

Researchers from Humboldt University in Berlin estimate that if the Amazon rain
forests were to lose all of its trees rainfall there would decrease by 20% this would bring on chronic droughts across the globe causing lower water levels in lakes and ponds the droughts could get so bad as to cause severe water shortages around the world leading to millions of deaths less rain might sound like a good thing but when it does rain expect massive storms that could seriously affect the earth dangerous mudslides and soil degradation are all a serious possibility what’s that is your stomach grumbling yeah that’ll happen a lot more without trees think of all the food.

They provide bananas coconuts apples the list goes on and I’m an no more maple syrup on your pancakes since it’s made from sap drawn directly from
maple trees things like chewing gum some candies even some makeup will no longer exist as they’re derived from the wax of carnauba palm trees but that’s not all in addition to directly providing us with food trees are also an essential part of all other food production that’s

Image by <a href="https://pixabay.com/users/Kapa65-61253/?utm_source=link-attribution&utm_medium=referral&utm_campaign=image&utm_content=429213">Karsten Paulick</a> from <a href="https://pixabay.com/?utm_source=link-attribution&utm_medium=referral&utm_campaign=image&utm_content=429213">Pixabay</a>

because of the trees special relationship with the soil trees absorb a lot of the chemicals in precipitation that would otherwise go into our soil not only that but trees also protect soil from erosion by the rain and they absorb water from the ground when it gets too wet we are predicting droughts but when the rare rains do come they’ll render the soil practically useless with our soil degraded and full of chemicals so you can say goodbye to all sorts of vegetation from crops to grasses to plants our world would quickly become a desolate wasteland not only would it look pretty ugly but it would have a severe impact on the agricultural industry crops wouldn’t grow and if they did somehow managed to sprout they’d be too unhealthy for us to eat.

Not to mention without insects like bees and butterflies to pollinate crops we’d have an even more difficult time growing anything no more vegetables fruits breads or nearly any other type of food that you enjoy daily so if the poor air quality doesn’t kill humans the food shortage probably would this has been pretty traumatic hasn’t it no more food animals and eventually no more humans we should probably consult each other over a nice warm campfire wait we won’t be able to do that either okay maybe being a tree hugger isn’t so bad

what if all trees were cut down Although we could kiss forest fires and leaf rake and goodbye would it really be worth it definitely not hopefully we never have to worry about this as long as we keep planning our trees saying no to deforestation and most importantly
continuing to watch what if

What If Oxygen Disappeared for Five Seconds

Imagine if all the Earth’s oxygen disappeared not forever just for say five seconds would we just hold our breath what would happen to the atmosphere what would happen to the environment this is what if and here’s what would happen if the world lost oxygen for just five seconds

take a nice deep breath feel how satisfying that is what you’re breathing in is oxygen and it takes up roughly 21% of our atmosphere with 78% being nitrogen although it’s not the most abundant gas in our atmosphere it is the most important without oxygen plants animals water and us humans wouldn’t be where we are today five seconds may not sound like a whole lot of time to be without oxygen most of us can go at least thirty seconds without taking a breath so it would happen too fast for your body to even notice your breathing would actually remain normal but as for everything else not so much in just five seconds

The earth would look completely different without oxygen you can say goodbye to the Hoover Dam the Pantheon dome and anything else made of concrete these structures would instantly collapse oxygen acts as a special binding agent to concrete without it concrete is just dust speaking of buildings any untreated metal would instantly be fused together this is because there’s a layer of oxidation on metals that prevents them from welding together without that layer metals would instantly bind to each other

If you happen to be relaxing at the beach at the time expect a severe sunburn the ozone layer our protection against the sun’s UV rays is made of oxygen take away the oxygen and the earth would become extremely dangerous there would be nothing protecting us from the sun’s UV rays in addition to a sunburn our inner ear would explode losing oxygen means losing 21% of our air pressure a change in air pressure that drastic is equivalent to being at sea level and dropping down 2,000 meters instantly our ears wouldn’t have enough time to adapt having a good time yet well don’t expect it to last long without oxygen there’s no fire the combustion process and vehicles wouldn’t be able to occur any mode of transport that isn’t electric will automatically fail planes will fall from the sky and millions of cars will be stopped in their tracks the sky would be completely dark before it hits the earth light from the Sun bounces off multiple particles in the air without oxygen in the atmosphere

there are less things to bounce off and the sky will appear dark oh yeah and while all this is happening the Earth’s crust would completely crumble that’s because Earth’s crust is made up of 45% oxygen the crust would crumble and continue to crumble until there’s nothing left sending you and everyone on the planet into a freefall sound like fun probably not but luckily you can take a deep breath of 21% oxygen

Knowing this will never happen for more things that are fun to speculate on keep checking back with what if

Thank you so much

Why School Buses Are Yellow

Consider the school bus. It could be painted literally any color: pink, bright green, orange, or even zebra-print. I like zebra print! So, why pick yellow? Is it because it’s a cheerful hue that makes kids happy to go to school? See the kid’s faces? I don’t think so. The main reason for picking yellow paint for school buses is… safety! But first, let;s figure out whether yellow school buses in the US are indeed that – yellow.

school bus
school bus

If you look at the color closely, you’ll notice that instead of being pure yellow, it’s a totally different shade! I would say that it’s a curious mixture of lemon-yellow and orange, which reminds me of…a very ripe mango? (Sorry, I’m hungry!) In any case, if you want to be extra precise, you should politely refer to the color of American and Canadian school buses as National School Bus Glossy Yellow. But wait! What about the scientifically proved fact that red is the one with the maximum wavelength?

Um, what I mean is that it doesn’t get scattered easily, and that’s why you can clearly see it from afar! On top of that, most people associate this color with caution. So, why not paint school buses red? well, despite all the scientific stuff, it’s not red, but yellow, which is the color that instantly grabs your attention in daily life. In other words, for some inexplicable reasons, yellow is the most visible color. On top of that, it has a kind of illuminating nature, which makes it stand out in the darkness, fog, or dim light. Now, lots of school buses must transport children to school early in the morning. Depending on the season, it;s often still dark outside at this time. That’s why it makes sense to use yellow paint, which will make buses more noticeable on the road. What’s more, the black lettering on the yellow background is a perfect color combination.

It immediately alerts drivers that they’re approaching a school bus during twilight hours. And finally, there’s one more crucial reason for this specific school bus color choice. You’ve probably heard of peripheral vision? That’s when you see something out of the corner of your eye, without looking directly at it. So, scientists state that you’re 1.24 times more likely to spot a yellow object with your peripheral vision than the same object painted red! These are the reasons why you can;t legally have a non-yellow school bus in the US these days

.But it wasn’t always like this! The National School Bus Glossy Yellow color didn’t appear until 1939; before that, school buses were painted all kinds of colors. And before there were buses, kids were taken to school in special wagons drawn by horses. That sounds like fun – let’s bring that back! Curiously, the very first so-called school bus appeared in London in 1827, and it could carry 25 children. Anyway, returning to 1939 and the newly accepted bus shade, it was called National SchoolBus Chrome.

But there was something seriously wrong with this chrome color scheme: school bus chrome contained lead in its pigment. And this element was (and still is, for that matter) extremely dangerous for people, especially young children. That’s why it was soon replaced with the paint manufacturers still use today. But let’s be honest here, if it wasn’t for safety reasons, what color would you paint school buses? Write about your choice in the comment section below and tell me why!

But here’s another thing about school buses that might seem confusing. Look, in all American states, as well as in most countries around the world, you must wear a seat belt when you;re in the car. And it doesn’t matter whether you’re a driver or a passenger. Plus, babies, toddlers, and young children have to stay in special car seats, fastened with seat belts. This way, if you get in a car accident while wearing a seat belt, it could save your life, or keep injuries to a minimum! Then why on Earth are;t school buses equipped with seat belts? However paradoxical it may sound, seat belts simply won’t make school buses safer! The thing is that traveling on a school bus is 40 times safer than going somewhere by car. Some experts even go as far as to say that school buses are the safest type of transport ever! How come? It;s all thanks to compartmentalization! Yeah, that’s a big word. What I mean is that the seats on a school bus are situated close to each other, and they have high padded backs. As a result, if an accident does happen, and a student gets propelled forward, they’ll only move a short distance. And the seatback in front of them will also kinda play the role of an airbag. Plus, on school buses, people sit high over the ground, which only adds to the overall safety. If another vehicle collides with a school bus, all the impact will occur under the seats.

But I would be lying if I didn;t mention another, more practical reason for the lack of seatbelts on school buses.Money.M-O-N-E-Y.Moolah.Adding seat belts would increase the cost of each bus by $8,000 to $15,000! Plus, buses would have fewer seats because seat belts would take additional space. As a result, schools would have to increase the fleet of their buses by approximately15%. However, a bigger number of vehicles would still carry the same number of kids! And here’s where it would start to get out of control: the changes would mean more gas, more drivers, and more CO2 emissions!Uh-oh!Anyway, these days, the scheme is the following. If a school bus weighs more than 10,000 pounds, it;s   up to the states to decide whether the vehicles need to be equipped with seat belts or not. Today, only six states make schools equip their buses with seat belts, and they areFlorida, California, New Jersey, Texas, New York, and Louisiana. But if a school bus is lighter than 10,000 pounds, it has to be equipped with seat belts in any state.

school bus
school bus

By the way, the other day, I was driving behind a school bus and noticed something I’d never seen before. Under the belly of the bus, there were some chains hanging, and even slightly dragging, over the ground. Of course, as soon as I returned home, I started a full-on google search. And I;ve found out that not all school buses have these chains, because, honestly, you won’t need them in, let’s say, California. The thing is that the chains help school buses get traction on icy roads. The chains are linked to the suspension system of the bus. If the driver realizes that they can’t cope without some additional help, they can just press a button on the dashboard. It releases tiny rubber chain wheels which are located next to the bus’s back tires. Then, when the bus accelerates, these chain wheels spin and throw the chain links under the tires. Voila! Slowly but surely, the bus is going forward again! At the same time, when the bus isn’t moving or is slowing down, the driver can retract the chains.

Also, have you ever seen a school bus with a black hood and wondered why it wasn;t the same yellow as the body? The thing is that when the sun is too bright, the glossy, bright yellow paint covering the hood of the bus starts to give off too much glare. As a result, it makes it hard for the driver to see their surroundings, and distracts them from the situation on the road. That’s when the flat black painted hood comes into play. It significantly cuts down on the glare and allows the driver to see clearly. And while some states make school bus manufacturers equip vehicles with black hoods, others forbid it. In this case, they get covered with an anti-glare substance. After that, the hood remains yellow, but the shade gets called lusterless yellow. And finally, to quote the rock band the Who: “every day I get in the queue, to get on the bus that takes me to you…too much, Magic Bus.

14 books every students must read.

I am going to tell you 14 books every student must read. I believe that If I had already read these books, then there would not have been much trouble in my life. The recommended book is written by best authors of the century and if anyone read this book 8 time it will change your life completely.

14 books every student must read

If you leave 300 or 400 things whatever things you will learn from this 14 books, time will teach you but the methodology used by time to teach is very worst. It is the first thing and thre second things is there are three types of books. The most of books are first type 99% and this types of books and best for heating hand. Second type of books are less they are useful but not more There is only method to read this types of books is you should read the summary of the book And third types of book it is least i.e. 0.001% and this are the books you should read again and again.

Now this third type of book, if you read this books one time its means you haven’t read it, you should read 8 times any book or a best book this makes the book will fall into your blood then you don’t have to think your thinking will turn like that book.

Forth thing is that in lifetime you must have interview once in lifetime and in interview they ask four things first introduction second hobbies third your strength and fourth your weaknesses and commonly happens when interviewer ask what is your hobbies ? then most of candidates tell two things first thing is listing to music and second is reading books then interviewer asks which types of books you have read ? and most of candidates cant able to tell more than two three and four book because most of candidates not read any things which is not related to their course, then interviewer says to dear, you read total four books and you told me your hobby is reading, even you can’t use to listen music. one more things is the students who read books which is not related to course that books mostly possible that it will be a story book or comics.

listen whenever there is interview you should not tell story books or novels. you have to tell only those books which makes sense to the interviewer that this person is doing hard work to to improve himself. but on the other side you have to understand that you don’t have to tell “you can win” because most of people read that book or not even read then also they take the name of that book therefore if you have read this book don’t mention it.

whenever you will be asked about your hobby in interview you should tell reading and they they ask what you read then, if you mention this 14 books then you can create a good impression. if you read all this 14 books 8 times then you can demand for a good package. understand one thing also that the benefits of reading this books if you read any book in future you will understand after 4 to 5 pages where you should have to read this book or not.

you have to take care of two things first thing is that free PDF is available for all this 14 books but should’t read with PDF you should recommended to read with hard copy and the second thing is that these are one of best books there they are translated in every languages but you have to read this books in English.

after reading this books 8 times your vocabulary you fluency to speak English will be great so, 14 books must read every student so, let start.
